Her years of experience as a Wound Care Specialist have produced rigorous attention to detail. Dr. Torrez’s meticulous procedure standards prevent secondary infections and result in the most precise care and greatest possible results.


Through her exclusive abilities and sheer determination to alleviate pain and effectuate healing, she has garnered an impeccable reputation of excellent care. She is known by her colleagues for accomplishing the unattainable and exceeding expectations even in clinically complicated conditions. This passion has led her on her personal mission to advance innovative and successful treatment protocols.


Academic Background and Expertise


Driven to acquire the highest available methods of care, Dr. Torrez received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Creighton University in 2018. Her doctoral project, “Implementing Palliative Care in Patients with Advanced Heart Failure in a Primary Care Setting” points to her commitment for specialized care for patients living with serious illness.


Her initial training with stem cells was in the application to wound healing, where she saw first-hand their properties as a catalyst for healing. Since, she has received training in South Carolina and actively practiced in the application of regenerative therapy for intra-articular joint injections, and innovative, minimally invasive delivery methods to address a wide range of disorders. She has performed hundreds to thousands of bone marrow aspirations and joint and soft tissue injections.


She is board certified in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Oregon.


She is family oriented and appreciates a well-balanced lifestyle with her son and husband. They enjoy dirt biking, hiking, fishing, camping, golfing, and of course, traveling to warmer weather!
